i found the location to be great. the room was lovely. the staff were nice, very helpful with local information. the breakfast was excellent and set me up for the day.
I noticed some very slight noise coming from the bar downstairs one evening. It did stop relatively early though.

loud noisecracked toilet seat
The room lacked proper soundproofing. I heard noise from other rooms all night (motorbikes too!). The toilet seat had a large crack, annoying. I reported the issues at checkout. I received no real solution or discount.

The staff was friendly. They helped us store our bags before check-in. They also assisted us with breakfast, arranged a taxi for our departure. The breakfast included French toast and yogurt with granola. I enjoyed the variety.
The corridors smelled of laundry. The back stairs to the rooms were steep. These stairs also needed better cleaning.
